Austin had his first day of full day preschool today. He is going Tuesday and Thursdays full days! Campbell and I got use to being on our own today. He had a great day and said that he loves his teacher and his new room. The school just moved into a new building so everything is really nice and new!

Weekend in Kansas

Doty, Mom and I packed up the 3 kids last Thursday and headed off to Kansas for a few days. The trip over went really well and we had a wonderful, but short visit with everyone. We got to see uncle Jon's new store and we got the grand tour of the behind the scenes workings of a chick-fil-A. Austin's favorite part was the big walk in freezer and the fact that uncle Jon made him his own shake and he got to watch!! On Friday we visited with my grandma at her house and my Aunt Joni and her grandson, George came over to play. All the kids had a great time! We had dinner out at my Aunt Chick's on Friday night and then we topped it all off with pancakes Saturday morning at Chicks!

We stopped in Columbia on the way out to have lunch with doty's dad! My kids were actually happier than it appears!!

Fun with Aunt Doty and Lydia

So I'm sure most of you know that Jon is now the owner/operator of a Chick-fil-A store in Topeka, Kansas. He moved there about 2 weeks ago and Doty and Lydia will be joining him in mid September. Anyway Doty and Lydia are on their way to see him in Kansas and they stopped to play in St. Louis for a few days. So today we went to Shaw's garden and the kids had so much fun playing together. Both Austin and Campbell are loving having Lydia around.

Adding to my last blog about Austin and cars...... I just put him to bed and cars have now made their way into his prayers, "thank you for car stores in every state and country, Amen" He then asked me,"Mom are there car dealerships in heaven?" (I did not even know he knew what a car dealership was).

Rest Time

I just checked on Austin during his rest time and I found him in his chair reading his new favorite magazine! It is an Auto sales magazine and he looks at it all the time, I mean for hours! Today in the car he told me if I would just pick one of the many minivans in the book that I would grow to like it.

Weekend fun!!!

Jason's parents came to spend a long weekend with us and we had a wonderful time. They drove in last Thursday and came right to Austin's last T-ball game. They got awards and Austin is very taken with his. Today is the first day he has not worn it. He only took it off because I told him he was going to ruin it if he kept wearing it everyday!! We had a mishap with installing a fan so the boys had to get into the attic to fix it (actually Uncle David got up there, Thank you Uncle David!!!!) Austin took the opportunity to see what was up there!!

David had a meeing in St.Louis on Monday so he flew in on Sunday and stayed with us! It was fun having him with us!!
