Krista's shower

Saturday we had a shower for my cousin and I did the cake, So this is for Ann who wanted to see the cake!

Change of Plans!!

This morning was suppose to be a normal Sunday morning, you know church and then out to lunch with some friends. We definitly had a change in Plans. We had one of the worst thunderstorms I have ever seen. I was even scared of the thunder this morning! It started about 6:30 and at 8:00 we watch the fire trucks come to our neighbors becasue lightning hit their house (luckily no fire). Then at 8:30 Jason went to the basement to workout a bit and saw water pouring into the unfinished part of the basement, luckily it had only been coming in for about 10 minutes becasue he had just checked it earlier and everything was fine. It was coming in where the water pipe was on the wall. So we quickly got buckets and the shop vac (which is the best thing ever) and started moving things out of the way! After all was said and done we now have a newly organized unfinished part of the basement! The trash man is going to love us on Tuesday.

After a while the water died down a bit and Jason fashioned this funnel thing so the water would go into the bucket and not just down the wall. He's so crafty!!

Yes that is actually organized!!

Cookies Cookies!!

So I have been doing my cookies business for about a year and it has been going pretty well. Considering I have just been doing it by word of mouth and mainly baking for family and friends. Last week I actually sent out a mailer to some wedding planners in our area and I got my first order this week. She called me on Tuesday for 60 cookies on Thursday, which is pretty fast but I had fun doing it and I just love these little tuxedo's. The cookies were for her out of town guest baskets and she wanted their names on the cookies. So here is one night(afternoon too!) of work!

Off To Paducah!

For the last year we have been blessed with wonderful neighbors, well today they packed up and they are headed for Paducah. Jason got transferred with a new job and they are off to KY. We are very happy for them because he has been their for the past 3 months and Rachel has been home with the 3 kids. We will miss them very much, their kids were the same ages as ours and they just loved playing together! Here are some pictures from our last afternoon Popsicle party!
